This page is under continuous development, so please visit it again soon. In the ancient Sanskrit language the word ‘tri’ (trini) means the number three, ‘anga’ means limbs or branches. Trianga is not a yoga style, a school or 'brand name' - it is a model behind the concept of 'Deep Integrity'. Essentially the word ‘trianga’ conveys the unity, the ‘one-ness’ of three domains. For instance, inwardly, on a personal level these are the body, the conscious mind and the 'heart' or the emotive, 'intuitive self', or 'spirit'. Outwardly it means the total unity and integrity of the person, society and the natural world. (In Permaculture, the system that provides a framework for intelligent, sustainable living, we have the Trianga of its ethics - Earth Care, People Care and Fair Shares.) The domains of Trianga are inseparable components of an unbroken whole. Particularly in the western culture, but more and more world-wide we overlook this, and deal with the parts as if they were independent units. This fragmentary way of thinking has deeply penetrated the whole of human existence. The separation of the 'me' from 'another' and from the outside world is one of the root causes of the unending conflict between humans, the thoughtless, heartless exploitation all round and the ecological crisis the world is facing today.
